So it’s been a while since I tapped into lesboland.

So what’s new?

Faces. Yes new faces! Different attitudes, culture and comfort levels.

Refreshing in a sexy zest to explore more of what’s out there. Yet from an emotional distance, observing, smiling, projecting and analyzing.

First observations:
- much more Dare-ness to touch without too much thinking in a playful sexy sense.
- Femme/butch or what some say top/button culture is dominant.
- Trans men (FTMs) are lost into a macho-attitude and are misunderstood, few in numbers and without any access to physical transformational procedures; they get denied identity from within lesboland. Even some FTMs think they are straight men. All Sad.
- Besides parties, gossip, fun, entertainment, romance and sex, there isn’t much interest in further identity development, some passive interest to community development and little interest in art, or literature related projects.
- I would still say the state of affairs is still in discovery, individualistic and social in nature. still far from being a strong community.
- the number of out-within-community is growing in unprecedent rate, so healthy and hopeful!
