Arabic Lesbian Song!
Well we know how our Arab male singers use the male pronoun in their lyrics, which is something i think historically used in Arab poetry in general.
However, you’d never hear a woman Arab singer using the female pronoun in describing a love or lustful interest in any of their songs. Unless they were talking about a country!
Well Rooby, did it. I think!
My ex heard on the radio randomly last year and she registered it immediately, she then looked it up later and heard it again to confirm her suspicions. I even found a blog post talking about its lesbian inclination in some anonymous egyptian blog at the time, I can’t find right now.
What do you think? She can’t be talking about the Sun itself could she?
here are the lyrics:

lol interesting but i wouldn’t read that much into it…don’t think this even crossed her mind..you’d actually need a girl with a brain to think of having a meaning behind her song..but interesting none the less
lol you maybe right in that. Worth blogging about in all cases though
